Un établissement de réadaptation communautaire axé sur la famille offrant des évaluations, des traitements, des consultations et de l’éducation aux enfants et aux jeunes adultes ayant des troubles moteurs et de la communication. Le CTE s’efforce d’assurer la meilleure qualité de vie et la meilleure santé à ses clients en améliorant leur estime de soi et en facilitant leur fonctionnement, leur autonomie et la participation à la vie de la communauté.
Les services d’intervention thérapeutique multidisciplinaire du CTE sont offerts dans les régions suivantes : Sudbury Est, île Manitoulin, corridor de la route 144 et Chapleau.

Crisis Intervention Program

The Health Sciences North (HSN) Crisis Intervention Program is a short term counselling and assessment service available to individulas of all ages who are experiencing a crisis and are unable to cope effectively as a result of symptoms of a mental illness, or personal problems.
The program is operated 24 hours per day 7 days per week.
Services can be accessed by presenting to the program, or by making an appointment by telephone. We also accept referrals from self, family members, emergency department, family physicians, and community agencies.
We also offer a Mobile Crisis Program which is available Monday through Friday from 10 am to 10 pm. The Mobile Program is available to meet the client at an appropriate location within the District of Sudbury.

Infant Development

Infant Development is a home-based early intervention service for infants/children ages birth to five years, who have, or are at risk for a developmental delay. Parents/caregivers are assisted in recognizing, understanding and facilitating their child’s development and in accessing community services. Resource materials, equipment, toys and books are made available to the parents.

The Mental Health and Addictions Program delivers integrated, community and hospital-based mental health and addictions services in both official languages. Services are team-based with a variety of mental health and addictions professionals available to provide assessment, treatment, support and consultation to clients and their families.
