The Society provides information, support and education to people with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, and supports families, physicians and health-care providers.
 
The Alzheimer Society is a mutual aid and advocacy organization, and consists of a national office, 10 provincial organizations and more than 140 local groups across the country.
