Grove Park Home for Senior Citizens - Senior Encounter Adult Day Program |
Designed to encourage seniors to remain living in their community for as long as possible in order to prevent premature admission to a Long Term Care Facility. The Adult Day program provides activities related to the needs of the clients, including lunch, snacks. Activities are directed at enhancing self-esteem and encouraging optimum client involvement. Program offers day-time respite for family and caregivers. Clients may attend one to five days. Hairdressing is available for an additional fee, with appointment. Senior Encounter is a service provider for the Community Care Access Centre. Grove Park Home is a registered charitable organization.

Adults; 18yrs and up; who may have a physical disability, physical illness (condition medically stable), diminished functional and/or physical impairment, cognitive impairment, communication disability, or Acquired Brain Injury; caregiver or client demonstrates need for respite or support; must have Ontario Health Card
