Les travailleurs sociaux aident les gens à traiter leurs problèmes dans leur vie personnelle, familiale ou au travail. Ils aident en offrant du counseling ou de la thérapie ou en les aidants à trouver des ressources essentielles. Les travailleurs sociaux peuvent travailler dans plusieurs environnements comme dans les agences de services familiales, les agences d’aides pour les jeunes, les hôpitaux, et les écoles. Plusieurs travailleurs sociaux travaillent aussi dans une pratique privée.
