Le surpoids et l'obésité
De nombreuses sortes de problèmes de santé peuvent se produire si on est en surpoids.
Le surpoids est généralement défini lorsque l'indice de masse corporelle (IMC) > 25 kg / m2 pour les hommes et les femmes. (Notez qu'une personne en surpoids n'a pas nécessairement trop de graisse ou de risque pour la santé accru si l'excès de poids est dû à une quantité de muscles supérieure à la moyenne.)
Si vous craignez qu'un être cher ou que vous-même puissiez être en surpoids, commencez par voir un professionnel de la santé tel que :
1) Votre fournisseur de soins primaires, ou
2) Un diététicien.
